CUB is looking for supporters from across the state to support our work during The Big Share 2026. This year’s Big Share happens March 3rd.
This year’s theme for The Big Share is “Give Today to Build Tomorrow,” and Community Shares is encouraging all people to get involved in social and environmental justice movement through a donation at thebigshare.org. With a minimum donation of only $5, it is easy to get involved. All donations, small or large, make a difference, whether for CUB or for 81 other nonprofit organizations that participate in Community Shares.
CUB’s goal for The Big Share is to raise $10,000 to advance our work, and CUB supporters have stepped up to match contributions dollar for dollar to help us hit that goal. Many thanks to Arch Solar, HGA and Lakefront Brewery, as well our Board of Directors and other supporters of CUB for pledging those matching gifts.
With energy affordability now a top tier issue, and discussions of data centers dominating the dialogue in Wisconsin, CUB is at the center of key challenges facing the state and its citizens. CUB is working to tackle affordability, and affordability is a much tougher challenge for those struggling to make ends meet. Your support will boost our efforts to expand our reach and do even more to advocate for fairness for utility customers at a time when wealthy tech companies are creating massive new demands on the energy grid with AI data centers.
CUB has been involved with Community Shares for decades. Community Shares network has been working for more than 50 years to advance civic engagement, fair housing, human rights and social and environmental justice as well as a variety of other causes. CUB has been working for 46 years as a nonpartisan, independent nonprofit organization championing fairness for utility customers – homeowners, renters and small businesses across the state. We’ve given them a voice, and saved customers billions of dollars.
Please consider a gift today and through the next week. Give Today to Build A More Affordable Tomorrow! Thanks for your support.
